Hello, my name is***** is very difficult to dislocate a dogs hip without severe trauma, like getting hit by a car. I suspect but can't say for sure that he may have a less severe, but equally painful injury. I would recommend a veterinary exam and some X-rays to determine what the injury is, and then get your chihuahua on a dog safe pain medication from your veterinarian.
