Customer Question

My lab is 5 months old and tonight we were playing tug with his rope toy and his botom canine came out. There was a bit of blood but unsure if it's baby or adult? Would this be just his baby?

Welcome to Justanswer! I am Dr. Altman and happy to assist you both today!

Are you able to include a photo of the tooth? It is difficult to know whether it was a baby or adult tooth, at 5 months old the canines should be erupting and those baby teeth lost but if you have the tooth that would be great to confirm this is the case

I am stepping away from my computer for a few moments but will return shortly to see if you have responded. If you do photograph the tooth you can use the paperclip on your screen to attach it to our conversation
