How many cough drops did your dog lick?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
just one
Expert:  Jeffrey Evans replied 3 months ago.

Each Hall's cough drop contains about 7 mg of menthol... the toxic dose to your dog would be about 20 mg.

Expert:  Jeffrey Evans replied 3 months ago.

Your dog should be just fine... if you notice any mild vomiting or diarrhea feed a bland diet of white rice and boiled chicken or hamburger (no salt or seasoning) for 3 days. Otherwise, if none of this is present, continue as usual!
