Customer Question

Need some advice. My dog has been a struggling with vaginitis and a rare uti for the last two yrs. the dog always seems agitated panting and untested. My vet agreed that something wasn't right even though are her vitals seemed ok. I took the dog to see a specialist who did an ultrasound and took a clean urine sample. Right now they have doagnos d her with cds. I'm really confused as her mental state seems really intact and doesn't really show signs based on what I read online. Should I ask them to run blood test to rule out Cushing or something more internal?

What breed is your dog?

Is she spayed?

Is she overweight?

So at the present time she does not have a UTI or vaginitis, correct?

What symptoms does she have that they are using to state CDS is the problem?

Is she urinating inside?

Do you find her in out of the way places such as behind doors or furniture?

Does she ask to go but then wants back in immediately?

Or asks to come in and needs to go back out very soon?

Does she still know the commands she used to know and obeys them?

Does she recognize people she has met before?
