My 10 year old pit mix has been panting a lot more recently.

Customer Question

My 10 year old pit mix has been panting a lot more recently. The panting does seem as bad like on hot days, but still noticeable and frequent. She hasn't lost weigh, she's eating regularly, and plays with our other pup. Any ideas?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Strange behavior is often perplexing. I'm sure the Veterinarian can help you. What is the dog's name?
Customer: Storm
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Storm?
Customer: No, that's pretty much it

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today.

How long has she had these signs?

Does she seem to be less tolerant of exercise (becoming winded more easily, sitting on walks, etc)?

Does she seem stiff when rising or sore at all?

Are her gums pink or pale/white?

Any coughing, sneezing, congestion, wheezing, or changes to her breathing sounds?
