Why is my dog eating my lettuce and cabbage out of my garden?

Hi this is Dr. Hill. Crazy as it sounds, some dogs love vegetables. It is not a sign of a nutritional deficiency and if he is only getting the lettuce and cabbage, then there is no concern for possible toxicity. If you apply fish emulsions, that may be attracting him to the garden. I would just be careful if you use any chemicals on the garden to keep him out. Please post any additional questions.
