I might dose dogs with clonidine at 0.1 mg per 22 lbs of dog. 0.2 mg would be a very small dose for a 75 lb dog and likely to be very well-tolerated. Reported adverse effects that might occur include vomiting, transient hypoglycemia, dry mouth, constipation, sedation, and aggressive behavior. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
