You may have to go to the human drug store for supplies.
I would buy "telfa" or "non-stick" pads. So you can put that over the open area of the wound and the pad will not stick to the wound. So when the pad is removed it will not pull at the wound.
You can put a little neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment on the wound before the telfa pad.
Secure the telfa pad with the white tape you can buy at the drug store.
It does not have to be tight. It just has to hold your telfa pad in place.
