JA: I'll do all I can to help. What is the matter with the dog?
Customer: He has opened or worsened a cut on the top of his center toe of his right forefront. I cannot drive in the dark. I need some way to prevent his obsessively licking it until the morning, when I can drive him to the ER vet.
JA: Is the dog bleeding a lot?
Customer: No. No bleeding, just a torn flap of skin.
JA: Phew. What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: A Weimar, Baxter, who will be three in mid Oct. He is current on all shots and flea/tick meds. He is very healthy,in perfect condition and weighs 73 lbs.
