Hi this is Dr. Hill. I need to ask a few questions. Why do you thing she ate the listed plants? What is she vomitng up? Has she had any vaccines?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
She is vomiting a clear yellowish fluid.
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I saw her eat something but I don't know what is was. Those are the plants that are in that area of my yard. She stated having diarrhea a few hours after that.
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
The diarrhea doesn't look much different from the vomit. She is also straining after the initial stream.

Give me a moment to look up plants. I know lavender should not be an issue, but need to look up the others.

Expert:  Kelly Hill replied 3 months ago.

Please confirm the spelling of the first plant you listed.

she might have eaten some grass as well, but I've never seen a reaction like this before from grass.

The lavender can cause mild gastrointestinal signs. Still looking for the penstemon.

Black eyed susans can cause mild gastrointestinal upset.

I cannot find any information on the Penstemon flower. I will opt out to see if someone else can help you. You can also call animal poison control at(###) ###-#### they should know about that plant. If there is an emergency clinic near by, you should probably take your puppy in because she is going to get dehydrated and it sounds like her condition is getting worse. Take care.
