Yesterday I came home to him completely lame in his left hind leg. A torn ccl I am sure, just not sure how bad. I need to get him comfortable

I agree with you. Cain's history supports another CCL. Which antiinflammatory or analgesic drugs do you have at home? A combination of a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) such as carprofen or meloxicam and a narcotic such as tramadol would be ideal at this time.
