My name is***** and I am sorry to hear that your dog is having constipation. Is he vomiting? Is he having diarrhea or just "cow-pie" consistency? How has his appetite been? Does he get any deworming/heartworm medications?

What questions do you have for me?

Thank you. I feel he has eaten something that made him sick. I'm keeping a close eye on him. Yesterday he was constipated. Gave him green beans with a little olive oil today it was very loose but not watery. Just throw up again but very little . He isn't feeling good this I know.

Okay. I would recommend taking away his food and water for about 4 hours. This will allow his stomach time to rest after vomiting.

After about 4 hours, you can start offering small amounts (about 1/2 cup at a time) of water and see if he is able to keep that down. If there is no further vomiting by morning, I would recommend feeding him something really bland, like boiled chicken and white rice. Continue this for 2 to 4 meals, until he is eating well again. Then you can transition him back to is regular food.

Does this help?

How is your pup tonight? Any more problems with defecation? How is he eating?

Do you have any more questions for me?
