Customer Question

My 13 year old Pomeranian is wrenching and vomitting after she eats or drinks. Usually loves food, now anorexic. Nil notice of decreased energy. Nil notice of pain. Does she need to go to vet or is there a home remedy?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did the dog eat anything unusual?
Customer: Not known
JA: What is the dog's name?
Customer: Princess
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Princess?
Customer: History of seizures however never more than one per month

Hi, this is Dr. Hill. I am sorry that Princess is sick. It is recommended that if she has been vomiting for over 24 hours and is not able to eat or drink that she be seen by your local veterinarian. She will become dehydrated pretty quickly. Also, your veterinarian can do some bloodwork and also give her an anti nausea injection that will make her feel much better. Feel free to ask additional questions. Take care.
