Hello, my name is***** and I will do my best to help you. I'm reviewing your question now and I will post back to you ASAP.
If it went down her windpipe she would would be coughing and hacking.
It sounds like it went up into her nasal sinus. Did she sneeze?
You can hold her in your in your hands with her head hanging down. Have a good grip so that you don't drop her. Something may come out of her nose. Hold her like this for about three minutes.
ok we are holding her with head down
she is crying
I don't mean to hold her upside down. Just lay her in your hand on an angle.
Anything coming out of her nose or mouth?
no. nothing came out
no nothing came out. she is back to snorting
Any bubbles on her nostrils?
Are her gums nice and pink?
no bubbles and her gums are pink
Good. The nasal sinus drains into the throat and down the esophagus.
So if anything is in there it will go down by itself.
It may a few hours for it to drain. She should be getting better all the time.
If it gets worse put her head down again.
If her gums turn blue she would need immediate attention at an emergency clinic.
You will have to watch her until she is back to normal.
Is she feeling better than when you contacted us?
Yes, let her sleep. She should get better through the night.
Then give her the paste in the morning.
But if she turns blue that is an emergency. But I don't expect that.
And of course keep her warm.
I usually log off about now. But I will check with you in a half hour. OK?
