Beginning Friday he was crying and yelping if he barked to.

Customer Question

Beginning Friday he was crying and yelping if he barked to long. He has improved over the past few days. I was just curious what might cause it I can feel his thyroid and did not know if maybe that was it , he is eleven.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. The noise must be worrying. I'll connect you to the Veterinarian. What is the dog's name?
Customer: Brady
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Brady?
Customer: He is a Springer. Has been around the house all the time until recently. He recently stopped getting car sick. But he had never left the property and was not around so has not had shots. I am concerned that if he gets them he will get sick because of his age. But now that he can leave the property I would like him to be safe and take him places.

Hello, this is Dr. Jess. I am sorry to hear about Brady.

Has he been eating and drinking normally?

Does his bark sound different at all?

Is he having any coughing or sneezing or nasal discharge?
