Customer Question

Elderly large breed. Extreme lethargy. Won't eat or drink. Vomiting sweet smelling clear liquid. Can't lay his head down without discomfort. Labored breathing.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. This sounds like it might be serious. I'll let the Veterinarian know what's going on ASAP. Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about the dog?

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

How long has he had these signs?

What color is the vomit? Any blood?

Are his gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?

If you press on his belly, does he have any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?

Could he have eaten something he should not have (ie bones, toys, rocks, plants, chemicals, etc)?

Has he had any diarrhea?

What is his breathing rate (just count his breaths for 10 seconds + multiply that number by 6)?

Never mind. Waste of my money. Didn't realize the gimmick. I've done rescue for ten years and should have known better and trusted my gut. At the ER Vet now.
