Hi there, my name is*****

I would try to avoid BOTH of these products. Pepto bismol has aspirin in it, salicyclic acid which can cause further irritation to the lining of the stomach. Tums contains calium and we have to be very careful with how much calcium we give our dogs as this can cause electrolyte disturbances and heart problems

With hold food for 6-8 hours. small amounts of water are ok. we don't want to dehydrate them. The over the counter drug I like to use for nausea in dogs is Pepcid AC. How big is your dog?

I'm going to be off line for a little bit and then I'll check back in with you. If you can let me know how big your dog is and if you have further questions please let me know.
