Ibuprofen can cause gastrointestinal ulcers at a dose of 50 mg/lb. Diesel ingested 200 mg/11 lbs = 18 mg/lb - a safe dose but one which might cause transient gastrointestinal distress in the form of inappetence, vomiting and/or diarrhea. Administration of an over the counter antacid such as famotidine (Pepcid) at a dose of 0.25 mg/lb should be comforting in that case.
