Raymond, if Mojo is intact (not castrated), his bleeding is most likely to be due to acute prostatitis. Neutering him plus a couple of weeks of an antibiotic that penetrates into his prostate well such as enrofloxacin or trimeth/sulfa should be curative. Less commonly, trauma to his penis or urinary stones (uroliths) underly his bleeding. Mojo's vet will want to palpate Mojo's prostate, reflect his prepuce back in order to thoroughly examine his penis for injury, and perform a complete urinalysis. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

Hi Raymond,

I'm just following up on our conversation about Mojo. How is everything going?
