Ask a Dog Vet and Get Answers to Your Dog Veterinary Questions
Hello, my name is***** and i will help you.
No, the chicken tenders wouldn't likely cause anything like this.
But let me ask you a few questions:
How long has your poodle been eating grass and having the foamy and bloody stool?
What is her regular diet including all treats and human food.
Is she vomiting?
So this is a very recent problem?
We don't know why dogs eat grass. Some just seen to like the taste and a few might eat it when they are not feeling well.
It is not digested so it comes out whole. The blood in the stool is serious. Did she ever have this before?
When was the last time You had her checked for worms?
Hello, we missed each other last night.
How is your poodle today. If you still see blood in her stool take her to your vet. It could be from hookworms or whipworms. But it could also be from many much more serious problems.
Do it before the weekend to avoid having to take her to an emergency clinic if it gets worse.
Hello, this is Dr Marta again wondering how your poodle is doing.
Please let me know.
