1- How much does he weigh?

2- Any pre existing medical conditions?

3- Any swelling?

Friend, if you see any swelling or if you know exactly where he got stung apply cold compresses for 5 minutes 3-4 times a day. In addition, start him on Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 25mg every 12 hours for the next few days. For pain and inflammation you can also give him Buffered Aspirin 325mg 1/4 tablet every 12 hours. If at any point you notice difficulty breathing, pale gums, etc. have him checked by ER veterinarian.
