Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

How long has he had these signs?

How much blood are you seeing? A spoonful, more or less?

Is he passing diarrhea?

Are his gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?

If you press on his belly, does he have any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?

Could he have eaten something he should not have (ie bones, toys, plants, chemicals, etc)?

Reese has been like this for the last 5 days. He is excreting about a spoonful of blood and is having trouble pooping. He has diarrhea. Gums are pink. No tenderness when we rub his belly. We don't know if he has eaten something bad...he could have.

Good morning,

I do apologize for my delay in reply. As I am sure you can understand, I did have to be away after not hearing back from you after 2 hours (where I had replied to you a minute after you posted). Since you did not relist in my absence for another vet to aid you, I do want to send a message just now to ask if you would like my thoughts on Reese's situation and what we can do here or if you would prefer I send this question back to customer service.
