I wouldn't recommend keeping Chancy on Temaril-P for an extended period of time for her collapsed trachea. Steroids are good for short periods to decrease inflammation but long courses of steroids (more than 3-4 weeks) can cause some pretty nasty side effects- increased thirst, urination, hunger and can also lead to diseases such as diabetes mellitus and cushing's disease, just to name a few.
