Good Afternoon,This is Dr. Stevens, when pets suddenly start to pee and poop in the house, it is always important to rule out medical issues causing this first. A ten year old dog, maybe having issues with his kidneys or liver and because of this he can be drinking more and peeing around the house. Blood work and a pee sample is very helpful to determine the cause if its medical. If this is all normal then we start looking for behavior reasons, such as stress, new pet, new move, etc. Pay attention to his thirst and if he has lost any weight.
