Customer Question

My dog is a Skye Terrier (about 10 yrs old) and lately has been sniffing the air too much. She also hides under the table. But she still eats and goes out for a walk.
We removed a big tick behind her ear a couple days ago. Wondering if that had something to do with it. Or if she has allergy or depression issues?
I'd appreciate your diagnosis.

Hello, I am sorry you are worried about Chula. My name is Rebecca. I am a veterinarian for Just Answer. Apart from sniffing excessively, does she seemed depressed? Less active, eating less, uninterested in playing? The excessive sniffing could be related to allergies. Does she have any discharge from her nose? Ticks can carry diseases but usually you see things like fever, painful joints, limping, pale gums.

How is Chula? I hope you were able to see what I wrote. Can I help with or answer anything else?
