Hello and welcome, I am Dr. B and would like to help you today. If your wee one has a cyst or any mass potentially obstructing the rectum or could if it grows, then the best option is to have this surgically removed at this stage. If we do this now and when it's smaller, this will ensure the best chance it's fully removed and doesnt cause him future bother. As well, the smaller and less complicated it is to remove, the less cost that would be involved on getting this off and preventing him any bother.
Take care,
Dr. B
