Customer Question

Hi. My dog has been being sick every 10 mins (estimate) since about 5pm this afternoon. It's just water she's bringing up and seems excessively thirsty. When she's not being sick it seems her stomach is tensing up abit like dry retching. Last night I got rid of a frog which was in our garden..

Hello ElleB. I am sorry to hear Roxy is having a hard time right now. Does Roxy have a history of ingesting things? Has this ever happened before?

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Please let me know if you still need help. Such profuse vomiting should have prompted having Roxy attended to by her vet. The very dangerous bloat and gastric dilatation volvolus (twisting of the stomach on itself) need to be considered in any dog with such nonproductive vomiting. If you live where the Buto toad genus lives, toad (not frog) intoxication should be considered when hypersalivation, vomiting, head shaking, and face rubbing occurs which can progress to serious cardiac and neurologic abnormalities. Please give me an update on Roxy if you wish.
