My dog ingested 4 oz of shredder oil. What should we do if anything?

I believe that your shredder oil is a combination of non-toxic vegetable oil and mineral oil. If I'm correct, no treatment is necessary. Tanner might experience transient gastrointestinal distress - inappetence, vomiting and/or diarrhea, but shouldn't be intoxicated. Please check the label of that oil and let me know what the ingredients are.

Ingredients not listed on bottle but is not terribly viscous.

I would be surprised if it weren't either dilute soybean or canola oil. Petroleum-based oils are avoided because they're flammable and shredders can overheat. What does it smell like to you?
