Posted by JustAnswer at customer's request) Hello. I would like to request the following Expert Service(s) from you: Live Phone Call. Let me know if you need more information, or send me the service offer(s) so we can proceed.

Because you rescued her she is continuing to act out her need of you. Until she is feels that you will not abandon her, she will continue to panic.

This will take time and patience.

Does she allow you to go into another room as long as she hears you?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No, she follows me everywhere I go

Ok I thought you were in Australia. Thanks for your help, I thought it was separation anxiety. I will persevere with her.

One week is a very short time for her to even get used to you, much less feel secure without you.

Working on her separation anxiety may take weeks/months. It is a commitment you must be willing to make.

Start with spending relaxing time together where she is not anxious about you leaving. Like taking a walk, or grooming her, or just talking to her. Talk to her calmly all the time, petting her and reassuring her.
