Hi there, I'm Dr. Sara. I'm a licensed veterinarian who works exclusively with dogs and cats. I'm sorry to hear that your boxer/bull mastiff mix has been having some eye issues. Has he been to the vet for these issues?

In my office we treat all eye problems like potential emergencies, especially if there's any watering, squinting, discharge, or redness. Having said that, there are a lot of benign processes that can cause white color changes to the eye including lipid or calcium corneal deposits, or corneal dystrophy, which are benign. Unfortunately, things like corneal ulcers, dry eye, and glaucoma can also cause a white discoloration to the eye, so I would suggest having her looked at by your vet at your soonest convenience to make sure that the changes you're seeing don't require any treatment.

I hope that this helps - please let me know what other questions I can answer for you.

~Dr. Sara
