Hello, this is Dr. Linda. I hope I can help with your question this evening.

I am sorry for your concerns about Cheata. While a vaginal discharge in not exactly normal, it is not anything that you should be overly concerned about. Cheata may have a case of vaginitis, unrelated to her surgery. This is more of a coincindental situation probably unrelated to her surgery. It is great that she is receiving antibiotics, so as long as she is eating, drinking & eliminating properly, then all should be well. If the discharge should become more pronounced, become bloody, or you noticed a strong odor, give your vet a call on Saturday.

I hope this makes sense & you find the information helpful. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Thank you.
