The swollen eye is helpful information, thanks. That could indicate a problem with and infected tooth, or an infection in the eye.

Can you take her temperature? Are her gums pink in color?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Gums are pink and there is no swelling or discharge.

It is a good sign her gums are pink. Can you take her temperature with a thermometer?

Try to get her to take some liquids like broth, water, Pedialyte. If she feels warm or seems painful, you could see if aspirin helps. You can give 1 baby aspirin (81 mg) to a 15 to 20 pound dog, once to twice daily but if it makes her vomit, do not repeat it.

How is Candi doing? Can I help with or answer anything else? Was I helpful at all?

Candi is doing better, she is on steroids for what we believe is a slipped disc. She is moving more and acting more like herself.

Thank you for the update; I am glad to hear she is better.
