Customer Question

Please help me. My dog ate 8-15 mg temazapam. He weighs 65 pounds what do I do? I called my vet she didn't know what else to tell me except to try to make him vomit by pouring peroxide down his throat. I did that but he has not vomited yet

I'll follow up for Dr. Peter for you. I don't understand why Murphy's vet didn't offer to induce emesis by injecting Murphy with apomorphine which is essentially foolprool in doing so. If her office is closed, a veterinary ER can do this for you. It will still be helpful if Murphy ingested the temazepam within 2 hours.
