Welcome to Justanswer! I am Dr. Altman and happy to assist you both today!I do not feel waiting an additional few weeks to spay her will be an issue at this point and as long as she is not showing symptoms of an infection in her uterus (vaginal discharge, lethargy, reduced appetite, swollen belly) it is absolutely fine to wait. A lot of large breed dogs are spayed at approximately 9-10 months old so this shouldn't be an issuePlease let me know if I can assist with any additional questions today!
