Hi, I can help you with your question today.

How long has this lump been on Jasmine's face?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
About a month now

OK. This could be many different things. It could be a benign growth like a histiocytoma, which can resolve itself within a few months. It could also be a more serious problem like a mast cell tumor. A description is not enough to diagnose it - nor is a physical exam.

I recommend having her evaluated by your regular vet. I would start with a physical and an aspirate of the lump. This uses a small needle (the size used for a vaccine, no anesthesia is required) and gets a small sample of cells to look at under the microscope.

This may be enough to get a diagnosis so that we can plan if she needs it surgically removed, or if we can safely continue to watch it.
