Hello!

Thank you for your question, I'm Dr. Dan and I'll try to help you.

I have a question before I can help you properly.

Can you tell me what the active ingredient of the poison was or at least the name brand?

Can you tell me how long ago that Opal at this?

The brand is tomcat. I just found the bag outside no idea how long a few hours. She has been eating quite a bit since I got home. I have given her about 4 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting.

That's really bad news. Did Opal vomit after you gave the hydrogen peroxide?

How log ago did you give the peroxide?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
About 15 minutes, she just drank water now
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not sure she even ate the poison
Expert:  Dr. Dan replied 1 year ago.

Thank you for the information. Since 15 min has passed you can give her another tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide. If she doesn't vomit after 15 min then she must see the vet. This poison is almost always fatal if we start to see symptoms. Most of the time we see symptoms within 2-12 hours. If she does not vomit up the bait she needs to go to the vet for activated charcoal and further treatment. If she didn't eat the bait and she has the charcoal it will not hurt her, if she did eat the bait and we do nothing, it's usually fatal. A trip to the vet for treatment if she doesn't vomit after the second dose of peroxide is really important.

I hope this helps, if not please feel free to ask more questions. Dr. Dan
