I would be concerned that such a large, hard lump in that location indicates a needle (vaccine/drug) - induced fibrosarcoma. Rudy's vet can needle aspirate that lump, examine the aspirate microscopically, and tell you what the cells removed from the lump indicate - often while you wait in the exam room.
