Customer Question

Hi Dr. Andy,
My English Bull Dog has a cloudiness back in his eyes. What can I do so it doesn't progress. He is almost 6 years old.

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Can you clarify which part of Norman's eyes is cloudy - his cornea, anterior chamber, or lens? Keratoconjunctivitis sicca ("dry eye") might be confirmed by Schirmer tear testing but in some cases direct visualization of the tear film is needed in cases in which adequate tear production is present but the quality of the tear film is poor.
