Hello again Cindy,

Hopefully Jandy has something very minor, however I have worked out an answer for you ...

1. There are not really any human skin conditions which can infect dogs { And vice versa } so no problem with the Pityriasis Rosea, this cannot be transmitted to your dog.

2. Dogs do suffer from a range of skin conditions, many very minor such as mild dermatitis or mild non specific eczema. Many of these can be controlled by simple means home remedy such as ensuring strict flea control and then applying the likes of hydrocortisone cream to the affected area twice a day for a week or so. { This is an over the counter human product }

3. Of course more complex diagnosis are possible such as sarcoptic mange, so if Jandy's skin condition does not quickly clear up with simple home remedies of you note any deterioration then it would be best to have your local vet check her over.

I hope I have covered your question fully enough but if you would like further clarification or to talk things over a bit more then I will be on-line for the next hour or so and I will be more than pleased to continue working with you.
