Hi there!

Few questions for you:

1. Has Allison been vomiting at all?
2. How's her appetite?
3. What do you feed her?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No vomiting. She ate a little bit earlier this after noon but stayed in her room while I was at work at didn't eat at which isn't normal. She is also very tired. She is normally very hyper and she is is just laying around. She get Purina puppy chow

Got it, thanks.

There are three general / broad categories of what causes diarrhea in puppies:

1. Intestinal parasites - these include worms but also several other types which have to be tested for specifically and treated individually
2. Intestinal viruses/bacteria
3. Dietary indiscretion - eating things that should not be (and sometimes resulting in blockage)

One of the most serious is an intestinal parvo virus infection. Typically vomiting is involved, but early on, only diarrhea may be seen. Even if your puppy was vaccinated against parvo virus, it's still possible and I would definitely get her checked out within next day or two. She should be checked for parasites and parvo virus first to rule this out. Diarrhea in puppies can be serious, so I would try to get Allison looked at very soon, especially given that she is tired/lethargic.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have other questions...
