Hi this is Dr. Gabby. Do you mean Lamium amplexicanule (henbit or dead nettle)??? Was it in ingested? If so how much and how long ago?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Lamium is ground cover in my yard. This afternoon, Lexy, my pug puppy, played in the Lamium and may have eaten some leaves and flowers. This was between 12:30 to 1:30 pm. She was active for about another hour and since then has been sleeping. She did eat her supper at 5:30 pm and has voided since. She does response and will wake up when I pick her up but then goes right back to sleep when set down.

Ok I am not a botanist so I am not sure if there are different species of Lamium.

The Lamium amplexicanule should only cause gastrointestinal upset. I do not think it should make her so sleepy or lethargic.

You can always call ASPCA poison control. They do charge $65 to use their service
