Customer Question

My dog is a female pit bull. 8 months old. And i clipped her nails at home and she seems fine. No sign of infection or anything. Its just that her nails where they connrct with her paw is red and looks like it could be bleeding internally. Its been there for a while and they dont seem to hurt her. Just look like they do. Any advice?

Hi. Welcome to Just Answer. My name is***** and I've been a veterinarian for 15 years. Thank you for your question about Bailey. Can you send a couple photos of the nails for me to see what you're seeing? Is she limping or seeming sore at all with them?
