Customer Question

Our Golden Retriever has a very red infected right ear. We washed it with EpiOtic fluid just now. But we are wondering if putting Quadritop ointment on the red area would be a okay thing to do. It is an ointment we have on hand, but we aren't sure what Quadtritop can be used for.

Good evening, this is Dr. Gabby.

Yes, Quadtritop can be used for an ear infection. It contains an antibiotic, and anti-fungal, and an anti-inflammatory.

It can also be used on the skin for areas of infection or inflammation.

I would use it twice a day on the ear for at least a week.

Benadryl can also help with some of the irritation.

1 mg of benadryl, per each pound of dog every 12 hours as needed.

How does that sound? Do you have any additional questions?
