roz is her name.
Expert:  Rebecca replied 1 year ago.

I read our previous conversation about Roz, where we talked about her Addison's disease and taking prednisolone. I recommended having an echocardiogram to learn more about her heart, and starting her on Percortin for her Addison's disease.

A slow heart rate is usually seen with Addison's disease. I would have her "electrolytes" (sodium and potassium) checked, and if they are abnormal, her Addison's disease is not controlled. Starting her on the Percortin should get her electrolytes back to normal, and that may also get her heart rate back up to normal.

I am sorry, I can't make phone calls for the website. I can only respond to your questions here. Let me know what else I can answer or help with or if you prefer me to opt out so an expert who can make phone calls can help you. Rebecca
