My name is***** and I am sorry to here that Fido was hit by a car. Tylenol plus codeine is not safe for dogs and I would not recommend giving it. If you feel that he is very painful, I would recommend taking him to the local animal emergency room for evaluation. They will be able to examine him and determine if he has any internal injuries that need to be dealt with this evening. If he is stable they can prescribe pain medication that is safe for dogs to keep him comfortable tonight.

Best of luck to you and Fido this evening,

I hope this answer helps you.
