I have a mix of Golden and Lab, going on 10 this coming

Customer Question

I have a mix of Golden and Lab, going on 10 this coming year. She has gotten fatty pockets in the last 2 yrs., we have had her checked by our Vet and they said we should not remove. Is this causing movement and walking? She is getting older, and the heavy side. She walks and jumps on bed, should they be removed? Is this causing pain and what should I do?

Hi. Welcome to Just Answer. My name is***** and I've been a veterinarian for 15 years. Did your vet call these fatty pockets lipomas? Have they been getting bigger? Is she having increased mobility issues?
