Customer Question

My dog ate 10-20 of my biotin pills this morning. Should I be worried?

Please don't be alarmed. The vitamin B complex such as biotin is simply excreted through the urine when in excess. I would be surprised if you saw any adverse effects at all from his inappropriate ingestion. There's always the chance of a mild and transient gastrointestinal distress - inappetence, vomiting and/or diarrhea - from ingesting such an unfamiliar food, however.
