Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian & I would like to help you with your wee one today.

How long has she had these signs?

Has she had any coughing, sneezing or discharge from her nose? What color is the discharge?

Can you take a breathing rate for me (just count her breaths for 10 seconds + multiply by 6)?

Are her gums pink or pale/white?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Pearl was having these symptom for a couple of months now.
Slight discharge from her nose I notice the other day and her discharge is clear, however Pearl is sneezing.
I'm not at home at this time to do a breathing rate.
Gums are pink, I will recheck later this afternoon when I return home.

Hi again,

Is her discharge coming from one nostril or both?

Does she feel to have similar airflow from each nostril?

If you can check those along with the rate, that would be helpful.

Speak to you later,

DR. B.

how do i check the heart rate??
Expert:  Dr. B. replied 1 year ago.

Hi again,

You don't actually need to, I just want a breathing rate here. So count her breaths for 10 seconds + then multiply the number you get by 6 to get her breaths/minute rate.
