My dog will not eat. Ito her to the vet and he told me she had a respitory infection and upset atom ouch. He also said she had cancer. She has swollen gums and her teeth are dirty.thos was not addressed.

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Please let me know if you have a specific question. So far I know that she was diagnosed with cancer but I don't know how that was determined or what kind of cancer she suffers from. She has a respiratory infection but don't know if it's upper respiratory (eyes, nose, throat) or lower respiratory (chest). She has an upset stomach; was that determined because she has been vomiting or having diarrhea? She has swollen gums and dirty teeth but that would seem to be of little significance if she's dealing with cancer. Such a patient should have a thorough diagnostic workup including a complete blood count, serum biochemistries, urinalysis, chest X-rays, and abdominal X-rays or ultrasound.
