Chaz is a 16 yr old miniature golden terrier. His right back leg has arthritis really bad, hearing is going and for a month now can't hold bowls and loss control.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your situation, and wanted to help.
Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner. If you would still like assistance, can you tell me:
What joint medications are you giving? What dose?
Where is he having fecal accidents?
Is it en route to going out, in his bed, or a certain spot?
Does he seem aware that he is passing stool (ie looks like he is ashamed)?
